[ he doesn't bother texting him, because it would just look like a serial killer was looking for him... ( claws aren't meant for texting ) so he just decides to sniff venti out. he shouldn't have too hard a time doing it, but it'll probably be a long while before he even comes close. ]
[ The scent trail will lead him at least two hours away from the hotel on foot. He's found a small shrine surrounded by large trees and lush landscaping -- enough to almost entirely obscure the city views that surround on all sides. There's even a small koi pond.
Venti is seated on one of the rocks overlooking the pond, shoes kicked off to dip his toes in the water, strumming what appears to be an acoustic guitar. You wouldn't know it's his first time learning to play one from how good he already is with it, humming lyrics in an unfamiliar language as he simply makes up the tune as he goes. ]
[ he manages to sniff him out, but he's a bit frustrated with how long it's taken him, especially since he can move a lot faster than the average human. once he hears the guitar he slows to a stop, ears perking up, as he quirks his head... hm. so he's a jack of all instruments. hah! he trots closer and steps out of some bushes, ] Here you are. I thought I'd never find you.
[ pentium lounges alongside the koi pond... and opens his mouth and dips his tongue into the water in an attempt to lure them over, so he can eat them. i'm sorry he's like this, venti. ]
Me? [ looks back at him. ] I'm fine. We won. I've just been hungry... which, reminds me, I'm sorry I... [ looks back at the pond. ] I'm sorry I ate you.
N- No! that's... that's not it. I don't, I can't... [ grits his teeth and moves away from venti. ] I'm hungry. I'm so hungry. [ lowers his head as the growling becomes louder. ] You were delicious and it's taking all the strength I have n- not to try to eat you again.
And, no, not like this. I can normally eat and feel full, but for some reason no matter how much I eat it's just not helping. [ prrrrobably because he's not eating the right thing, but nevermind that. ]
day 408, post game.

Re: day 408, post game.
Oh-- it's just you! You startled me.
Re: day 408, post game.
Re: day 408, post game.
How come? Did something else happen?
[ DO THE HORRORS EVER CEASE?? ]
Re: day 408, post game.
[ stares at him. ]
What? Nnnno? I was worried. You did die four times...
Re: day 408, post game.
Oh, whew! For a second I thought you were going to tell me the whole city burned down or something!
Well, since it's not that, would you care to join me?
[ Patting the rock beside him ]
Re: day 408, post game.
How are you feeling, and don't tell me fine.
[ but he will join him, sitting awkwardly on a rock that's way too small for him. ]
Re: day 408, post game.
[ Plucking at the guitar strings idly ]
A little melancholy, perhaps! But nothing more serious than that.
Re: day 408, post game.
Re: day 408, post game.
[ The guitar strumming stops for a moment ]
How are you feeling, though? That was quite a game.

[ A normal person would be more afraid, but Venti is not a normal person, nor has he ever been good at even pretending to be one. ]
Is this normal? What do you normally subsist on?

Meat.
And, no, not like this. I can normally eat and feel full, but for some reason no matter how much I eat it's just not helping. [ prrrrobably because he's not eating the right thing, but nevermind that. ]
