[ She leaves him on read and focuses on floating herself and Lupine over to the hotel and up to sIV. She's still pretty much a mess -- weak and pale from lack of blood and still in awful shape emotionally, but focusing on Doctor in the game and Lupine afterwards gave her something else to focus on. And she's here rather than running away. ]

[ +1 for focusing on other people's problems tbh, but by this point he's definitely if quietly concerned about Zari's wobbly. ]

[ She floats both of them on inside, sort of worried that she won't be able to stand if she tries. ]

Honestly, just no one getting hurt or tortured would be a vast improvement.

Hey, I wasn't tortured, the water never got higher than my hips.

[ Maybe he can set a good example here for Zari by resting some of his weight on Venti? Mostly weightless so it's obviously fine. ]

[ Venti's response is simply to wrap an arm around his waist, and then Aliza's too for good measure. Take THAT! ]

We can also do normal snacks. Or alcohol. You both seem like you could use the latter.

Threat of torture is bad enough, especially when Doctor was my hostage. [ SHE IS SO NOT OKAY ]

[ Staggering a bit when Venti's arm wraps around her. She feels cool to the touch (rather than unusually warm as she typically does). ]

I don't want normal food either. But don't let me stop you. [ She'll just be hovering nearby trying not to pass out. Really all she wants is to be wrapped up in one or both of them, warm and soft and safe. ]

I'll take both if you've got something on hand. Rice crackers or something and alcohol.

[ Because yeah he keeps feeling the Threat of nausea from vertigo, but it doesn't persist as long as he's not trying to Get Upright. ]

[ Well then, Venti is hauling them into his sprawling green field of a bedroom, letting them down only once they've reached the canopy bed.

Aliza in particular gets a lingering look. ]

Wait here, then. As a rare treat, Venti will wait on you! Just like the maid cafe.

[ Ooh, bed. Beds are good. Adrenaline draining away plus anemia plus trauma equals sleepy vampire. She flops onto the bed and burrows in. ]

As long as you're back here soon enough. [ She's sort of cold and has more burrowing to do ]

[ Also gonna flop onto the mattress face-first, but after a beat, muffled by plush bedclothes: ]

Not like the maid cafe. [ Vague little gesture with one hand, absolutely not lifting his head. ] No master crap.

[ Just say no to Venti calling you master, kids, but he's not into it from anyone else either. Other framing devices for D/s can stay, though. ]

[ It's said with laughter in his voice like he's clearly charmed by this grumping.

Either way, he's only gone for a few minutes before returning with 1. a variety of snacks, which he pours out into the grass next to the bed, 2. a variety of liquor bottles, which he brings into the bed, and 3. a warm washcloth that he drops onto Aliza's forehead. ]

There, see? Punctual service!

[ Flopping onto the bed himself, hello ]

[ Burrows into Lupine, then into Venti upon his return (mindful of the washcloth and dampness) ]

[ No interest at all in the snacks ]

[ Muffled from somewhere in the pile: ] That game sucked. I want a do-over of this entire week.

[ Had made his way onto his side and started to stroke her hair, but he stills a little in response to that. ]

—Heh. Wouldn't say no.

[ He shouldn't drink on an empty stomach. Shouldn't. It's tempting anyway. Can he reach a snack from here...

It takes him an embarrassing few seconds to recognize that Venti's bed is nestled at the base of a giant tree, but like, then he's definitely gonna try to plant-kinesis the snacks more into range.

(Somehow this is better than asking Venti to sit up again?????) ]

[ There's a soft snort as he watches the vines crawl over to the alcohol, but Aliza's comment gets him to prop himself on one elbow, peering down at both of them. ]

That bad, huh?

I'm too exhausted to sit up and look at you incredulously, if that answers your question.

[ She reaches out blindly and grasps around a bit, get back over here you ]

Exhausted and a lot of other things. [ She was just unchained a few hours before this awful game so yeah not great. In a way her being here voluntarily instead of running away some more is all the proof one could ask for. ]

[ ~~hey for the record the vines are reaching for snacks, the alcohol he could grab himself if he wanted it first~~ ] [ Just keeps on petting Zari's hair for a long moment. He's still so sorry about the chains, but he doesn't wanna get into it again, especially when they're both so tired.
